Caring for your Real Christmas Tree
Upon taking home your Christmas Tree, here are a few things to keep in mind when caring for your tree.
- Once your tree is home, make a fresh cut at the base of the trunk before putting the tree in the stand. This will help the tree drink the water it needs. Make sure to make a straight cut, and not an angled cut, to ensure your tree fits in your stand properly.
- Make sure to keep your tree away from major sources of heat, such as; fireplaces, heaters, heat vents, etc. Lowering the room temperature will help prevent your tree from drying out as quickly and will also result in less water consumption each day.
- Make sure to water your tree regularly, the bottom of the trunk should always be submerged in water. The temperature of water does not matter.
- Enjoy the fragrance and beauty of your real Christmas tree!
